I notice that a lot of ant coming out from my car. I think lot of ant invaded my car when i park under a tree. Now when i tried ketuk the rubber panel, there will be black ant coming out. What should i do? Can i just place it under hot sun? Can i use Ridset to kil the ant? I am afraid Ridset will be bad for my car paint.

Please help

u can try putting under the sun la; but it may not be the best option cos the sun wont penetrate thru the door panel n etc.

if u can; open up the panel n try get rid of them.

maybe there is food in your car that attracts ants.

hmm....try put some food/candy somewhr.....on top of a piece or paper or sth....then those ants will gather thr....then when u see it accumulates....tapau them all at once wahahha

one thing ants cannot resist is water;

u put a bowl of water there n hope tat they drown themselves.

Haha.. no la.. I nv eat food in my car one. I notice that there is a tree branches touches my car lor. So the ant all march up from the 'penang bridge' into my car lerrr...

maybe can follow the trail of the ant see where is their nest, after you saw it then conquer it

feed them good good. dont kill animal. they r precious.

Go to kedai senseh and ask for ubat semut ( small silver packet )... cost you RM 0.60 to RM 1.20 only

use one spoon of honey to attract the semut and pour the ubat semut (small amount only)... the remaining try in your house

Same problem with my car.
Aged car, however, this problem only occurred since pass few months.
And only black ant.
I didn't eat inside my car.
Take away from restaurant also just put then take off.
The problem is I couldn't find the source.
Search high and low already just left didn't take off those carpet that cover the metal part.
Even used H2O Insecticide and sprayed whole car before and put under hot sun.
After a while, the ants come back.
HELP NEEDED (Seriously) too.

Now got put a little poison, but they are still outside and inside the car.

Last time spray insecticide because found out ants had made a nest in the safety belt clip.
Other than that, can't find other place although tried few times.

spray the RIDSECT(these kill ant)(inside the car) and leave it overnight.

but next day your car surely smelling

use the roach kill, effective for up to 2 months. mosquito spray not so effective

u should have a spider as you pet inside your car. Hm....

use ant poison

i got same problems too, black ant... duno why suddenly like so much...then sometime even some small little cockoraches also appear...

after my car go spray new paint for a week, now what also don have..., maybe the paint smell too strong everything also dead or runaway....

Luckily my car don't have cockroaches..
Haha.. Maybe got I also don't know but never seen one before..

Use ant bait poison selling at carefour, the ant carry the poison all the way into the nest then all eat and die, very effective, my house ant nest all gone, now i leave any candy around no ant come.....hahaha all mati liao

i faced this problem be4 when i park my car under a tree and i guess the branches touch my car.... and alot of black ants attack my car...
wat i do is use ridsects to spray,rinse water, and leave it under hot sun....do continously for 5 days then everything is ok

Try put pieces of cinnamon sticks on every known hidden corners ~ They will sure run away

last time i got this ant problem, + cockroaches!

i bought these packets of ant poison (powder type)
for less than rm5 for 5packets at pasar malam.

just put the powder on the ants trail.
eventually the ants will pick it up.
(maybe they are perceived as food?)
after a week i couldn't see any ant anymore
btw the small cockroaches were also gone

however, lately the cockroaches "invade" again!
maybe the new croaches are their late offspring?
have to go to pasar mlm to buy for more poisonous ant powder...

i got roaches invade my car b4. tried the roach trap offered by ridsect.
u will see how many of them is coming and stick to the trap.
but the roaches are never ending. keep buying the roach trap for more than 1 month but there is still roaches in the trap after i change it over and over again.
but soon after i send my car to respray the paint. all roaches is gone. so my suggestion is send the car to respray, else the problem wont solve.

if small spider ok what. symbiosis.
u give him place (car) for food, it kills ants for u.

i tink usually the ants hide in the hole near the door there...

So i spray shieldtox in there, open my car's door and leave under sun for few hours...

After that i saw a lot of dead bodies and no smell in my car oso

you can either put it in your car or outside below the car (i prefer outside the car), put it at several places, it will kill the antz...i did it on my car too and it works ....super cheap solution

One of my friends told me yesterday that ants are afraid of rubber band and a type of grass. (He forgotten what is the name of the grass already)
The grass does not has any smell.

Can someone clarify about that and name the grass?
