Well, i just wondering, i'm using 32" LG 80FR Full HD LCD..and its connected to my PS3. When i watch Blu-Ray, i realized the graphic came out like white white thingy like dust from screen. Not sure is it cuz of my LCD or what. I used Samsung Series4 HDMI Ready before this and connected to my PS3 and it was fine. i thought after bought a better LCD with full HD its goin to be better, but then its seriously make me feel so disappointed. So then i purchased The monster HDMI as im hoping it would make it better. But but and but.. The difference is just a little bit only.. And still can see the white thingy like dust especially on the face. and the monster HDMI cost RM250.. sighhh.. oh yah.. by the way, if im not mistaken, my LG LCD support HDMI1.3.. So waht does that means? must i use the 1.3 version?
Which is better, HDMI 1.3 or the HDMI monster? HELP ME PLS..

I think you are seeing better display now with your new Full HD tv, hence you are seeing the "white dust". It could possible be other thing as well?

I believe your Monster Cable HDMI should be v.1.3. You can google more info on HDMI v.1.3.

All new Monster HDMI cable including M1000HD and Gamelink are already version 1.3.

The way I read it, probably there's some faulty on your new LCD. Maybe you want to check with your manufacturer on defects?

Lower your sharpness setting. LG TVs tend to oversharpen everything. Since you now have a HD source with lossless HDMI, every bit of grain sticks out like a sore thumb. Lower your sharpness to zero, and then slowly increase until bearable. smile.gif

Thanks, i reduced my sharpness to zero and slowly increased it.. The results is great.. The white thingy like shiny dust reduced alot but the pixel tend to reduced as well.. not as sharp as i expected.. sighh.. still waiting for 1.3 HDMI cable now.. Planning to try it out first.. then see the results..
