Most of the time when Dutty came out with a new ROM, he improved it BUT along the way he introduced some other bugs, just like 3.4, 3.5 3.6 & 3.8.
3.8 was out only for a day and was replaced by 3.9.  Better wait a while biggrin.gif  I have itchy hands whistling.gif
I don,t see much difference between manila 2.0 and 2.1 except for 24 icons versus 30 icons in the Program page
*
Since you have installed Dutty's rom, is the 3 seconds ringtone delay solved? Mine is still having
ringtone delay.

wondering if you are using mp3 as your ringtone...if yes then the 3 second delay will always be there...if you use tweakHD to solve it, you will realize that the "without delay" option will always be reset whenever you change your mp3 ringtone and also reset your phone...

one way to minimize the delay is use WAV files instead of mp3...the delay is still there but it's not as long as 3 seconds, around 1 second...the option will not reset itself if your are using WAV files but the ringtone volume will always be at 100% (in my case, not sure bout others), if you manually change the volume, the "without delay" option will automatically reset itself...
*
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I used WAV files and the delay is still 3 seconds .
I even use the patch to fix the problem but when HTC HD goes to sleep, 3 seconds delay still there.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=258109

I thought it's a ROM issue and if we have a cook like Dutty or Davideuck, the problem will be solved.
After installing so many version of cooked rom, the delay still there.

May i know which cab are you using for your clock at your home screen?
sorry to hear that...hopefully MS will solve the problem in Windows Mobile 7...not sure if the problem still remains in Windows Mobile 6.5...

I think delay ringtone still exist in WM6.5

But we still have hope. Tuxhero and his team are trying to port Android to Blackstone.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...=524898&page=35

I think once this new OS is up and running, the ringtone delay will hopefully be solved.

i've stop using S2U2 ever since the incoming delay issue appear. to prevent accidentally answering incming im using Inesoft Phone.

Hi evilpuppy,

I just installed and tried Inesoft Phone. I'm very impressed with the functions. But when I pressed the call button, Inesoft dial pad appear,
how can I remove the Inesoft dial pad as I prefer the HTC dial pad (I can make video call in HTC dial pad)?

The rest of the function eg. History, favourite, Profiler etc is very cool....very user friendly (no need to use stylus).

Cheers,

Danny

so far i've tested many 6.5 none of them suit me except Energy's ROM recommended 6.5 , 6.1 i would prefer Panosha's ROM.
Danny, go to Inesoft options > scrol down to Inesoft Phone Extentions for the phone pad setting.

Inesoft Dialer = uncheck to use default winmo dailpad / Inesoft Dailpad doesnt have video call
Inesoft Caller ID = swith between default  and inesoft incoming Caller ID
Inesoft Phone = if you enable this , you wont be able to making call through TF3D contact. for me i disabling this options.
*
Hi evilpuppy,

Thanks a lot, really appreciate your prompt reply. Yes, now I can use default winmo dialpad and I love
Inesoft Phone.

Edit: I find thet the call filter in the profiler did not work. I try to filter one category but the call still ringing. U managed to filter call?

Cheers,

Danny

be very extra carefull while using call filter, i've been scratching my head for 30min to figure it out.

All Enable or checking the category mean all incoming is allowed

you may set All Enable then uncheck which category of contact to be block.

All Disable = All Call Block

I done both "enable" and "disable" and even soft reset after the setting but still ringing .... rclxub.gif shakehead.gif

Normal apps in my HTC HD. I'm currently on Dutty's WM6.5 R8 Turbo.

Can it be I'm using WM6.5?

Edit: Oh yeah, I find that 3 sec delay ring no longer exist in wm6.5. You guys should give WM6.5 a try, it's very stable and fast now.

I tried using General Profile and set the "Seasonal" to disable. I call from a phone number that I set to "Seasonal" categories but
the phone still ring......

Hmmmmm, weird as you able to block the incoming call.

Beside all the advantages mentioned, the main reason I bought HTC is due to XDA community. We learn a lof from them and
we have a great rom cooker like Dutty, Davideuck, Miri, Leo etc that make our HTC HD more usable.

Hi evilpuppy,

I know why I can't filter the calls. it was due to I have to tick the Caller ID. If I untick it, it will not filter
calls.

But I have problem when I tick Inesoft Caller ID. Incoming calls will show in deafult caller id then few second later, it
change to Inesoft Caller ID (quite irritating).

How do I disable default (HTC) caller ID (if I want to use Inesoft Caller id)?

Thanks in advance.

you also need to enable <inesoft phone> options to bring up inesoft incoming caller id instead default caller id screen appear before inesoft. the problem is, by enabling this option you wont be able to use TF3D contact functions or video call.  rolleyes.gif

Ok, understand, thanks for the guide (it really works), really appreciate it. Hopefully new version will come with video call.

BTW, currently I looking at the Iconsoft Phonex V 1.4.5

Yes, have to agree with you. And Inesoft advantage is, it can filter/block calls (and reply with sms). rclxms.gif
However, Iconsof Phonex interface/GUI is nicer brows.gif

Note: Currently I still prefer Inesoft and activate the Inesoft Phone and Caller ID (to enable me to use call filter function).
Thanks again for your guide/tips. notworthy.gif

Edit : Have you any experience power drain using Inesoft? In less than 2 hours, my battery drop to 80% (from 100%).

Manila 2.5 rom.

Thanks buddy, will give Panoramic Phone Genius v.1.6.0. I dont like current default "contact" as it is not finger friendly.

Hi evilpuppy,

Back to Inesoft phone question. I found that the filtering (in profile) works as long as you did not use the SMS Autoanswer (set to no).
If you use the SMS autoanswer, all call will be block and it will trigger the auto sms to the calling party.

Do you notice this in your Inesof Phone? BTW, currently I'm using Inesoft V4.54.

oh~! HSPL? im not so sure bout HSPL using Storage. btw, have you done hardreset your BlackStone? maybe hardreseting will recover your USB connection?
*
From my previous experience flashing HardSPL 1.56, I almost brick my HTC HD using storage to flash HardSPL.
I rename to BLACIMG.nbh and after flashing done, my HTC HD keep hard reset/reboot.

I got panic and immediatelly plug in my USB cable and click on the HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex.exe
to reflash the HardSPL 1.56, lucky everything ok, phew...... rclxm9.gif

From now onwards, if I need to flash HardSPL, I will use via pc.

Note: For flashing ROM, no problem flashing via storage. Just copy the BLACIMG.nbh to root of the storage card
and follow the instruction to flash the rom.

Cheers,

Daneva

*
I think nothing wrong with yr HTC. I have a friend who had a similar problem where PC cannot detect the phone.
She told me it was due to it was set to the USB to connect to the internet (something like that).
I try to play a round with my HTC but cant find it.

Probably you can give it a try (to change the setting for the internet connection via USB)

Another thing that I can think off is probably your HTC is in sleep mode.
(the conection from PC to HTC will cut off if the HTC goes to sleep mode. You must disable the HTC
from going to sleep mode)

Cheers.

Guys...need some advise  here, i got my HD last week and original runs on WM 6.1 and my friend help to flash the ROM to Duttys HD WM 6.5 Leo R5 WWE. After that the HD seems to be very unstable, keep on hanging and auto switch off.  my friend's HD seems to be very stable running on the above Rom.Just wondering will it be software issue or more to hardware issue. Planning to flash it back to WM 6.1 original ans sent to SIS for diagnosis. Help needed. thanks.  smile.gif
*
If your HD running fine in WM6.1, the chances of hardware issue is slim. You should ask your friend to flash the ROM again and hard reset twice after
flashing.

Dont install any 3rd party apps and play around with it. If it is still unstable, then flash back to wm6.1 original and send to SIS.

In my opinion, WM6.1 is faster and smoother than wm6.5 not to mention battery life is better. I have flashed so many rom (Davideuck, Dutty, Miri and kwbr)
and personal opinion, prefer wm6.1

Currently I'm using kwbr Topix HD Unleashed 3.0 (manila 2.1, hate manila 2.5, again personal opinion).

Cheers,

Danny

Have anyone tried the latest Radio 1.17.25.09? I can feel that my device is less heated up now, but the battery drain is some what insane. Before heading to bed it's at 100%, but the moment I woke up it's already at 39% in standby mode.... geez.
*
I'm using radio 1.17.25.09 more than 2 weeks. My battery life is ok, in fact I feel it's better. Moderate use (30 minutes call 3-4 times a day and more than 10 calls lasted around 5 minutes) can last me two days easily.

I switched from wm6.5 back to wm6.1 and boy, i dont have to charge my HTC HD daily. Currently I'm using kwbr Topix HD Unleashed 3.0 (wm6.1, manila 2.1).

Cheers,

Danny

hi deneva,

im using v5.0. and the filtering function has been improve from v4.54 there is slightly improve and some changes. and no, v5.0 doesnt have above problem.

btw, in v5.0 any categories contact block or filter will bring them to 4 options

1. busy tone - person who call will hear single tone then imediately bring them to "the person you call is unavailable..bla bla bla"
2. Don't respond with CID - person who call will get through but you wont be hearing any ringtone or vibrate just a Caller ID appear on screen.
3. Don't respond without CID - person who call will get through but you wont be hearing any ringtone/vibrate NO Caller ID will appear on screen.
4. SMS Answer - person who call will only hear single tone then imediatly bring them to "the person you call is unavailable ..." if the caller using landline. but if the caller using mobilephone will also put them to "the person ... bla bla bla" then they will receive your sms.

Hi evilpuppy,

I love Inesoft 5.07, totally awesome. Some of the previous bug is gone ie. ABC bar in Contacts screen is okay now!

But I have an issue where if I use "call filter" and the "action for blocked calls" is "answer sms", each time after auto reply sms to
caller, I will also receive the Miss call notification (MSN). How do I make sure that I will not receive the MCN ?

Currently I'm using "dont respond - without CID" for "action for blocked calls" so that I will not get the MCN.
But I really love to use the "answer sms".

Thanks.

Cheers,

Daneva
