I'm on Duttys WM6.5 Leo R2

Thinking of cooking my PDA with new customised ROM but afraid of voiding warranty once I do that...have to be patient. Oh yeah, I heard White Wing said that the current price for HTC Touch HD will drop about RM1K...iszit true? I lost RM1k in value already...

Wow, cool, most of the Manila2.5 is in WM6.5, so will give a try to Manila 2.5 in WM6.1.

You can always flash back to official ROM before sending back for warranty..

The price now are official is RM 2,399. I just sold 1 HTC Touch HD last night at price RM 2,180

Touch HD price wont fall so fast. because unlike touch diamond, thanks to idiots selling overseas set, we had an supply > demand issue. Touch HD still rocks in many ways, and there isnt a supply demand problem. it should go down gradually, as all phone prices do, not a steep drop.

i know the price will drop but i dont expect to drop around RM1K...other than oversea sets, look at all the new Windows Mobile devices...new devices is cheaper than Touch HD, for example Omnia II...I guess HTC just have to lower the price to stay competitive...well hope they sell more so they can finally use another processor ...

most probably will still be using this device until Windows Mobile 7 available or when tegra-powered smartphone start to show up...

loving the flexibility of Windows mobile on HD...it may have lots of flaws but i can customized the home screen with many third party application, one day can use SPB Mobile shell, another day can use inesoft, then weekends can use my own customized TouchFlo3D...

Agreed.. I wouldn't expect the price from SIS to drop that significant (RM1k) as normally this is not the way electronic prices reduce..

I lazy to keep cooking ROM and need to install, re-load contact, application back...waste my time. So definitely would like to know what's the best ROM currently!??

hi just wanna ask what happen when u brick your touch hd? i have a feeling that i might have brick mine. after i reset the screen is all blank. i cant get into phne mode now...

i install all my application to Mainmemory. i only store my songs/videos/Photos and cab files on my 16G.
and there is no best ROM, you have to tryout most suite you best. and im going to try this PDAViet ROM Build23041, the start and menu has been move down.




OMG! did you HardSPL 1st? before proceed to Flashing ROM??

nice touch of shifting the start menu, button design look a bit out of place...

waiting for the final version due Oct 6th...HTC Touch2 will be the 1st HTC phone shipped with Windows 6.5 with the new manila / TouchFlo...

dont panic yet...can you get into bootloader mode? I read that as long as you can still get into bootloader then there is chances that you havent brick your Touch HD...

ok... fixed... i manage to get into bootloader mode. Flash with a new rom. Now all my application gone. have to reinstall. is there anyway i can link the application from my storage card?

All your applications registries were cleared when you flash. You have to reinstall the programs

then you have to install back all the application when u flash your ROM?

yes ... valid on promotion period and stock are limited now.

so indirectly you are the one "spoiling" Touch HD's market price
