Thanks... too many hobbies could be expensive.
On another note, is there a background noise app out there? Something like the one for the Iphone whereby can create a background noise (ie in a factory etc) while receiving call |

QUOTE(DrWho @ Jun 18 2009, 09:03 AM) Most of the time when Dutty came out with a new ROM, he improved it BUT along the way he introduced some other bugs, just like 3.4, 3.5 3.6 & 3.8. 3.8 was out only for a day and was replaced by 3.9. Better wait a while I don,t see much difference between manila 2.0 and 2.1 except for 24 icons versus 30 icons in the Program page ringtone delay. Cheers, Daneva |

QUOTE(daneva @ Jun 24 2009, 10:10 PM) Since you have installed Dutty's rom, is the 3 seconds ringtone delay solved? Mine is still having wondering if you are using mp3 as your ringtone...if yes then the 3 second delay will always be there...if you use tweakHD to solve it, you will realize that the "without delay" option will always be reset whenever you change your mp3 ringtone and also reset your phone...ringtone delay. Cheers, Daneva one way to minimize the delay is use WAV files instead of mp3...the delay is still there but it's not as long as 3 seconds, around 1 second...the option will not reset itself if your are using WAV files but the ringtone volume will always be at 100% (in my case, not sure bout others), if you manually change the volume, the "without delay" option will automatically reset itself... |

All WM phones suffer from this inherent problem. We just need to live with it or minimize it.
wma files will also minimize the delay. |

Actually I like some delays in the ringtone
It's a chance to answer the call before everybody in the meeting looks at me funny. |

I even use the patch to fix the problem but when HTC HD goes to sleep, 3 seconds delay still there. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=258109 I thought it's a ROM issue and if we have a cook like Dutty or Davideuck, the problem will be solved. After installing so many version of cooked rom, the delay still there. Cheers, Daneva |
