hard to explain to you..you can try to install WM 6.5 with manilla/sense 2.5 then you will know

Just got my HTC touch HD yesterday.

Few things i need to ask, noob user here

1) Is there any screensaver function for this hp?
2) Where is the place to store songs?
3) Can I play .rmvb file? Where should I store it?
4) Can the shortcut tabs be customised? Add in new shortcuts?
5) Previously I am using n70, I have problem with my directory. Contacts with 2 phone number will be duplicate. How can I merge it?

1. Screensave i'm not sure you can actually download application for it
2. You can save your songs almost anywhere in phone.. best in your memory card which is under Storage Card
3. RMVB file you can try with Pocket Player... its a not bad application
4. Which shortcut you refering to? the Start button? or the one in the manila
5. I think its best your sync with outlook manage all your contact and sync back in...

1) nah... dont use screensaver it eat your battery... just let it sleep normally...

2) anywhere... the phone will search it...

3) if want to play rmvb files using media player need to find the codec...

4) manila can be customise... you just need to download the software

5) merge using outlook

Yes, .cab file can me install in WM..not sure about iphone and blackberry

cannot its a windows files cab... that 2 other phone is totally different OS one...

Just install Energy Leo ROM..testing it out..

Here is a very fast and stable WM6.5 Manila 2.5 Rom for our Touch HD. Cloudy 1.1. Used it since it was released with no problems. No need for HD2 yet.

Energy Leo ROM still not suitable for me..I think I will go back Sense 2.1..because I dont like HTC Messaging..too slow for me..

i switch off manila and use iPhoneToday... much better... lolz...

i always use XT Grid ROM.. always fastest and bug free.. btw, i'm thinking of upgrading.. can the fellow mateys allow this captain to jump ship..?
