QUOTE(DrWho @ Jan 5 2010, 11:44 PM) You can use HD Tweak or Advanced Configuration to change the Threaded SMS to Classic SMS. Both are freewares Tried..nothing change.. [attachmentid=1383797] [attachmentid=1383798] How can I change this layout? Is this called "HTC Messaging"? This post has been edited by Lineage: Jan 6 2010, 12:18 AM

I believe the tweaking options of HD Tweak do not all work, especially when trying to utilize it on a customized/cooked WinMo 6.5 ROM.
I'm on Tropix 3.3 To change from threaded to classic layout, I would be go to Settings > All Settings > System > Text Messaging

Today is my lucky day I guess . I got this error "Microp Version Mismatch 0" which was discussed at xda-developer forum here. It seems I have to send my HD for repair. I need to flash my HD back to Stock ROM, unfortunately I have misplaced my backup files and i can't recall the original version. Please share or point me to which Stock ROM version is very much appreciated and by any chance it is available here. I bought my HD on Sept 2009. Thanks This post has been edited by stormrage: Jan 6 2010, 06:52 PM

You don't have to flash your device back to the original ROM. As long as you have the official ROM SIS would have to honour the warranty, ie you have updated your device with their official ROM from their site. Check your SPL and make sure it is the original SPL or else they will know that you have flashed

thanks Dr. you have always been helpful... The screen is dark and I can't see the bootloader screen. I did HardSPL with the nbh contains in "Restore_Stock_SPL_114_2.zip". MyMobiler which is meant to see the screen on PC only works after Activesync connection established. So assume ok gua .... .

QUOTE(Lineage @ Jan 6 2010, 11:11 PM) DrWho, what ROM you using? My HD is in storage now. I am currently using HD2. I have flashed many of Dutty WM6.1 ROMs and stopped at/reverted back to v3.7. I have tried Dutty WM6.5 ROM but immediately flashed back to WM6.1. For HD, I prefer WM6.1 ROM because it is stable and almost bug free but not WM6.5.

it seems like more and more chefs are going to cook for HD2 instead of HD...well i dont blame them, you can see so many bugs on WM6.5 with sense 2.5 with HD...
now miri doesnt even update the test version (with the new WM6.5.x) which i hope to flash once newer but stable version available. i'm not planning to get ROMs with sense 2.5 (i felt it just not for HD) but plain WM6.5 with titanium...i just hope that there's a chef left to cook for HD when that time comes...

it's basically the same thing...starting with WM6.5, hTC rename their TouchFLO3D to Sense...
i guess some called manila is because of the files used by hTC's sense UI...open up file explorer, go \windows and you see lots of files with the name xxxxxxxx_manila...

just some UI changes...WM6.5 seems to seems to be using more memory as well...if you dwell deeper into WM6.5 you will see back the old WM6.1...
but if try those newer builds like 23xxx, you notice that the start button is now at the bottom...this version currently known as WM6.5.x, microsoft has made even more UI updates, while adding some changes to the current features, even adding new features...it's not officially released yet thus the bugs, but i would like to try it once there's a stable ROM...

Until now, I'm still very confuse the difference..and what I know is the setting..WM6.5 a lot setting and GUI is difference.. The main difference between WM6.1 and WM6.5 is the today UI, the latter is much better. However if you are using TF3D, then there is not much different except WM6.1 has less bugs and have better battery life. That is the reason I chose WM6.1 over WM6.5. HD does not have sufficient processing power to run WM6.5 with Sense 2.5 smoothly, however, HD2 can.
