Got my PL50 unit!
![]() Been using it for a few hours already and I must say they're excellent value for the price. Previously I was using a pair of Creative Aurvana IEMs which costed me 400-ish bucks back a few years back, it was good but it had delicate plastic parts and horrible cable noise. PL50's plastic parts are more convincing and microphonics are expertly dealt with. If you happen to read some of the reviews out there, it's noted that the PL50 is a bit bass shy and I can pretty much confirm this. I am no a basshead but for me it the bass is subtle and more importantly, it doesn't affect the melodic quality of any of my songs so far. The foam tips and the silicone tips do the job but I'm swapping mine with my hybrid Sony tips. The stock tips do a relatively great job of isolating noises, in my case better than my Aurvana IEMs stock tips. Overall they're amazing value for money, and with a great dealer like mrmaninkl, it's so much more accessible than other competiters in the range.
