Foamies!Because it isolates all part of your ear without any noise caused from outside brows.gif

Received my PL21 from TS, item in excellent condition - highly recommended.
btw, i'm having the same problem as falcon21, the silicon that was provided, 1 side feels airy... but switched to foams that was provided and problem solved.

Hi,

Foam is better for isolation & silicon is more flexible. actually is personal preference, as long as you feeling comfortable with it.

In fact, many people have this problem, many people having different size ear canals. i think this is normal.

Here is a discussion : http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f103/differe...-canals-458507/

Well, try tis...got this after tried to put on pl21 over n over again..couple of times tongue.gif

Do tis at which side of ear u felt unbalanced like got some air got in...
After u plug in ur pl21, try to pull it out slightly, when doin tis, try to feel the silicon tip (im using silicon) like some suction pressure occur preventing the ear tip from getting out of the ear, at tis point, u will feel like the silicon ear tip cover ur ear canal too... doh.gif

LOL, sorry.... i dono how to put in words or describe it!..again, nt to say 100% work, but it did get alot better for, sometimes like really balanced on both side...depends... no harm to try it out.. rclxms.gif

Hi Kevio,

E5 is a Portable Headphone Amplifier designed to improve the sound quality and volume of any Digital Audio Player such as a MP3 or MP4 Player, Mobile Phone, Laptop, or Notebook. It is an upgraded model of E3 Headphone Amplifier which is very popular around the world. It retains all the advantages of the E3, and yet still has very small slim case! Now with a volume control so you can connect directly to the line out of a Digital Audio Player and control the volume directly!
But it is more than just an upgraded version of the E3! It has a higher power output, better Signal to Noise ratio and Lower Distortion! And with the new TI’s headphone amp solution, E5 have better sound qualilty and can work better with high impedance headphone. With a sound effect switch which will remove any Bass Boost., E5 will be a good pair with more different headphone.

received my MP21 yesterday. since i'm already familiar with few IEMs before, getting a perfect fit in my ear is not a problem.
plugged it in my rig ( aurilium + audio technica HA-20 amp). first impression - i cant believe it sound worse than my EP630. muffled bass, terrible mid n high. but wait, after 20-30 minutes listening to my fav track, the improvement were drastic! now(after 12-15 hours of burning in) i can say it only lose a little bit to my CX300. (edited : lose only in term of bass quantity, maybe because of their smaller tip. overall is on par with cx300).

conclusion - MP21 / PL21 is the best bang for ur bucks if u have tight budget for good IEM. comfortable, good soundstage, very deep bass, clear mid n high. biggrin.gif
