both are super bass.

PL11 tends to have heavier bass compare to PL21, but after burned in (> 40 hours), both are as good.

Plus point on PL21 will be less distortion, and sweeter mid and high, which the PL11 could be too sharp and hurting on the mid and high side.

PL21 is more comfortable than PL11, it is an improved design over PL20.

Think of this, PL20 + PL11 ==combine n improved==> PL21.
