yeah, he is nowhere near last season form. plus i believe our attacking option are more than enough. (err, is gourcuff will be back to us or not?)
so its better to strengthen our defense, find replacement for maldini and nesta. eh wait, nesta also? is he gonna retire too?? (such a big loss!!!) |

our future captain has gone...
seems few of us doing hate-b&g campaign...haha. can i join? so, the replacement for kaka is ronnie? i mean in terms of position... if that is the case, then how about the formation? still 4321 or revert back to the old 4312? if it was the latter, i guess we need to buy (using the money got) a great striker to partner with pato upfront, and r80 play just behind them (though i doubt he can be as effective as kaka in that position...) benzema anyone? or maybe buy defenders to strengthen that department. isk, there were already 2 (great) players left out of the squad. any rumours about who will come? |

nice draw, haha. but unlike previous two encounters with them, this time we play home in the 1st leg. hope we can improve in 2 months time to prepare for this match.

about juve-milan, i think its known that ferera (their coach) is contributing to juve's recent poor form.
so it sohuld make our job easier not? QUOTE(matyrze @ Jan 8 2010, 08:04 PM) Nvm, iirc, Milan players always tend to lose focus sometimes, even in critical situation too. I've watched Milan since 2000, so kinda familiar already erm, is milan ur 2nd fav club? |

what a sweet victory against our arch rival!!
hope we can carry this momentum to chase inter along way till the end of the season. cannot afford to see them winning 4th consecutive title. plus we can carry this kind of performance as to prepare for UCL at the end of next month. we need to do hattrick against Manu. LOL. based on report, heard that borriello hav a good match. so how about playing 4-3-1-2, with r80 behind boriello and pato? or do we have use this formation before? (erm, how long pato will be sidelined eh?. can he recover before UCL?) |

really frustrated woth the loss..
looks like being the most inform team cant guarantee a win against them.. being backfired by the phrase "form is temporary, class is permanent". now iirc, it have been years since we last win against them, right? not only i surprised about the result, but also the fact we played against lesser number of players!!! now we need to regain our confidence and winning mentality back, with ucl just within a month. |

QUOTE(ghoster @ Jan 28 2010, 12:31 PM) i made a few jokes about milan being cheap. but they have good reason of being 'cheap'. one thing i hate about milan is the way they decide on transfer sometimes. for example ricardo oliveira and recently, hunterlaar. all they did was just gamble on a player that they dont even want in the first place. actually, they do invest on young players but most of em didnt turn out well. for example, they bought bonera few years back, he was 25. but struggle with injury. gourcuff was sold, struggle to make an impact. QUOTE(ghoster @ Jan 28 2010, 12:31 PM) milan already make a few changes at the back for the ageing issues. abate is 23, antonini is 28. if u watch every match, they play quite well. both of em is fast. nesta is the key people at the back, and t.silva is a very good player, team-up with nesta. milan did not lose to inter coz of their ageing midfield. the fact is, right now they are simply better than milan. |

we draw!!!
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « ermm... i miss the match... only able to watch the replay this evening (from 40++ minutes onwards..) heard that we 'control' the match for the first 20-25 minutes.. really disappointed with the lost.. from what i see, defense all are crap... and we didnt convert our glorious chances into goals... what a waste.. erm... do beckham is in our first team before this... (seems like he didnt do anything special) also huntelaar.. r80 and pato were superb, though the latter has miss his chance on few occasions... all in all, there are still 2nd leg to play for... while it obviously a high mountain to climb, i believe we can do it in OT, with great discipline and well organised teamplay remember what we did to bayern in 2007? (though surely man u are different team compared to bayern) we just need to play our game (err, where is gattuso, borriello, flamini.., are the latter 2 injured?) i reckon seedorf to start at OT, maybe replacing huntelaar (though i might be biased since dont see the latter's true ability) and maybe inzghi to start also (!!!) replacing beckham....(same as above, dont see his impact on team performance) my suggested formation in OT: ---------------dida--------------- (4 well-disciplined defenders) beckham---pirlo---ambro- seedorf--------r80 pato or: ---------------dida--------------- (4 well-disciplined defenders) seedorf---pirlo---ambro- pato--------r80 inzaghi the 2nd depends on inzaghi fitness to start from the first minute though.. |
