well, my dad just recently got his blackberry curve from celcom.. after a few weeks of using, my dad accidentally drop the phone on a table - about like 20 CM HIGH only and the phone keypad doesn't work anymore..
he went to celcom to get it fixed because there isn't any blackberry center in the state, so he went there and the celcom people said that it will take 2 weeks or more to get it done. The person in charge also said that they have to send it over to HQ first and has to pass through many procedures which takes a lot hell of the time..
conclusion, blackberry is ideal phone for business for its good email capability... But in the sense of CUSTOMER SERVICE at this moment is really poor.. There isn't any blackberry center that i could find here in Penang.. About the durability of the phone, i'm not sure.. Nokia phone does not need to wait 2 weeks to get a phone to be fixed because Nokia center is everywhere in Malaysia..
Talking about the features, the backup capability on Blackberry is really bad.. They do not support vcf contact files, so a little disadvantages there for those who want their contacts to be transfered to blackberry phone. The good side is, they have this blackberry messenger where you can actually CHAT with other blackberry users through packet data. They also have other messengers like MSN and Yahoo.. Blackberry supports google maps too
