"I think I saw this in Borders too. The Gardens outlet. Didn't check the price though but it was at the bargain corner. "

I called up Borders in Garden... they no longer have it... out of stock.. So don't have unless call each different branch to check.

Anyway, I noticed Amazon.co.uk is having 30% off for it.. if you have friends there, you can get it. After conversion is cheaper than RM600 here.

Amazon.com is selling it at USD90 if I recalled correctly.. after discount.

The shipping will kill you. It will be either as much as , or more than the price of the edition itself. If you opt for the cheapest shipping, be prepared to receive it in tatters as the condition of the spine-to-pages adherence is flimsy.

Of course not. Not getting direct.. thought of getting friend to get it since friend is in UK and coming back soon..
but think I'll think about it first.

Yeah, read that in local library back in the old days. At first I didn't really understand why hobbes is a tiger and also a stuffed toy. Then later only I realise. Calvin (or rather the author) has a really wild imagination....

For those who is using vista, there is a C&H comic stripe available for vista sidebar... !! check it out. There are some 500+ stripes, just click and it will randomly select a stripe and display.... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

lol... one of my favourite also!! I think there is also another scene where calvin make a garden of spooky monsters in the front yard, with his dad stands there in the front door with his briefcase, speechless laugh.gif laugh.gif

This is one of my faves... Released 28.02.88, it's timeless for me.

Hey all,

Fancy spotting this thread..I currently own 2 sets of the complete collection of C & H. I ended up with 2 because of Pos Malaysia. A friend got it from Amazon for me as a gift but it never reached my doorstep. So said friend called Amazon and said that the item was lost, never reached intended recipient. Amazon graciously sent another set posted to me again.

I decided to make quite a hoo-haa at Pos Malaysia who later said they found it at one of their depots. So I collected it and a few days later received the 2nd set. And one book itself is heavy, what more 3 in the box.

One set is missing the box, got damaged when moving house. In RM, it was about RM500 from Amazon iirc, I don't remember the exact price as it wasn't me who bought it.
