Dun blame everything to Proton, even my Dad's E90 had the passenger side airbag prematured deployed. Luckily it was under warranty and got it replaced. Checked and it was the wirings too.

its probably because its CKD...being assemble by malaysian jaguh kampung monkey hand so cannot count...can happen to shitty CKD toyota and honda as well...And the thing about Malaysians is.. on german/japan made merc/bmw...this hardly happens...of cause I'm not saying merc and bmw are reliable shit...they break down a lot too cause too many shitty unreliable electronics...thankfully merc has woken up and finally address many of their shithole electronic malfunction issue...my point is...they workmanship and quality is up to minimum standard...
