Anyways, I have never copied from textbook, zaman sekolah2 pernah la tiru jawapan kat belakang buku teks/rujukan. Tapi, I have copy pasted lines from the web, usually websites yg obscure and unrelated to my particular field of studies but still related to the topic of the assignments.. Heheh.. |

I think if its too cozy, I might get sleepy and doze off
My favorite place & timing of reading is when riding/travelling Believe it or not, the crowded, busy, cramp places like in trains, bus, planes, etc. is where I find it most convenient place to read as long as no one is bothering me |

Ah, I wonder where is everybody...?
Anyways, SS, we do share reviews or what we think of the books in the various threads we already have. Just no specialized thread for reviews.. I dunno, should we start one? This was one of the discussion/points raised in the Improving Book Club thread, right? |

When i reach there i saw many ppl carrying so many bags i know it will be a good bargain. When i told my colleague on friday, she wasn't sure if she wants to go. But on Saturday she's there from morning itself. But i saw there are still so many books in the restricted area there. I saw some i wanted, But cannot take well today is the last day of sale, feel a bit itchy hand |

I liked Sherlock Holmes a lot. Robert Downey and Jude Law played their roles very well and are definitely the highlights of the movie.
However, I have not read the books, so I don't know how they compare. Narrating your own fights is truly an awesome thing to do. |

I know this is liek.. weird, but wanna ask a lil'. Do any of you guys know anywhere I can get magazines for a cheap price (outdated ones, usually). I've seen a couple of Indian bookstores around selling older magazines (3months - few years old), but I'd like to widen my network.

hey, here's a good question - would you buy an out of print rare 1st edition hardcover or wait for the paperback? The hardcover costs RM100 , the paperback is potentially RM30. But it's rare, hard to find and you know it's the author's best work.

QUOTE(spacelion @ Jun 22 2010, 02:29 AM) hey, here's a good question - would you buy an out of print rare 1st edition hardcover or wait for the paperback? The hardcover costs RM100 , the paperback is potentially RM30. But it's rare, hard to find and you know it's the author's best work. Only if you are a fan of the author which I think you are. |
