i had the same situation as yours, but improved alot after a gynae prescribed me with birth control pills to regulate my period. Better not to take too often as it has many side effects. I'm facing no pain when my period comes now.
I had once where i admitted to hospital for dripping coz of heavy flow.
Better to seek a gynae's advice. It wont cost u much, most probably below RM150, unless he prescribes u any medications.
