i have a modem for streamyx used for 4 - 5 years long and would like a router to allow my house to have wireless network

what would you recommend me?

i don't need a wide range but i require a one with strong / stable /reliable signal

i've done a search on the hardware section and many people recommend LinkSys WRT54GL

sorry, i'm very new with wireless networking technology
