oso same prob as common... LCD blackout when u press D pad or d button which beside D pad...... i last time changed 1... tat time is within warranty... so din charge me anything... but tis time warrranty dead edi

very long time didnt post here.
juz changed my lcd few weeks ago for Rm120.
if anyone had problem with blackout screen after pressing a key better open your k850 and check the lcd connector ribbon. it happen becoz the ribbon made contact with keypad and create a short circuit. thats why the screen will kaput after some time.

there is a guide on how to open it. juz google will ya

FYI, i bought a used phone..and i bought it purposely to take pictures and hear music...i dont have any xpertise in phones nor i have d equipment to do soft/hardmods..

is there anyone in here whos from nilai/mantin/seremban or anywhere near? coz i need help with my phone..i want to update/mod my phone to be tiptop in photography n videography... if can, everything la..lol (i've just started photography/videography hobby...and this phone is wat i could afford rite now)...i'm scared of doing it myself coz i dont have the equipments, the knowledge and the guts to do it...lol...

so i really2 hope some of u guys can help me mod my phone..i'm willing to blanja makan/pay abit for ur hard work..but not so much la...i'm still student..lol

i dont use the keypad so hard laa

it's quite easy for you to mod the phone yourself, just follow the instructions carefully and all you need is the software and usb cable..

not recommended for you to flash your firmware, it's dangerous..
modding camera drivers and acoustic is more than enough..

K850 memang lag no matter what FW you use.. Try R1FA035

My touch sensitive buttons is spoilt again, syok syok it works, other time it doesnt, for the 2nd time. The last time was in March, and the shop gave 6 mo. warranty for it, then it's the LCD ribbon problem.

Should I still keep faith in this phone, else, how much you guys reckon I can trade it in for, with a half working keypad?
