If i were to get it as a gift, I'll sell it right away & buy something else.
Should have remain as a Maserati.

QUOTE(Anson- @ Aug 21 2009, 01:04 PM) Prolly likr $300 USD a month. But it's all good lar.. I'm very young so they charge high, butI work and stuff, so I can pay it off. Insurance here is damn expensive Yeah cars are cheap.Insurance kills it though. But with the salary there, u can probably pay it with a day or two job |

QUOTE(Anson- @ Aug 21 2009, 01:14 PM) $66,000 out the door Working there, buying a nice car is not much a problem i guess. Just need to watch the insurance.Added on August 21, 2009, 1:16 pm First off, both are German cars. German = HIGH Maintenance Then, M3s are all over the road and C63 looks like a normal Merc but with a quad exhaust and a body kit. As for the IS-F, I like the color and production is very limited. It's also 8 speed and the F is definitely a tad bit faster than the M3. Not an exotic or supercar but still a very nice car. I'd take an E92 M3 for the price though Added on August 21, 2009, 1:22 pm QUOTE(Anson- @ Aug 21 2009, 01:14 PM) Well, not really. If I was to have a normal job, I wouldn't be able to afford this car. I'm glad I have a very recession proof job though, drumming teacher! Besides that, I have scholarship for school and all that stuff. Cars are amazingly cheap here, but insurance is hell. I'm actually looking into getting the new Camaro (Bumblebee) as well and actually ship it back to Malaysia. Not to mention roadtax for the 6.2 liter motor (assuming u want the SS) This post has been edited by caerulln: Aug 21 2009, 01:22 PM |

QUOTE(Anson- @ Aug 21 2009, 01:25 PM) Hahaha! Well, all 3 cars are pretty much the same price. Maybe like 1 or 2000 difference. I don't think so..Yeah, that's what I thought too. But from what I've heard, you can keep the car for like 4 years and they won't tax? I was thinking to bring back an American car before I go back to Malaysia to work. Like a Mustang, Corvette or Camaro. Very boring seeing all those STI, Evos, Fairladies around. I have a Fairlady myself in KK and it's painful to see them everywhere now. But then again the Fairlady is still a very good looking car and it's still a chick magnet! What I heard is if u buy car in Langkawi (no tax of course) & keep it there for 5 years, u can bring into mainland tax-free. If before 5 years, the tax is pro-rated IINM. At best, i think u can bring it in as a recon vehicle. You get an AP as a student right? Fairlady definitely is a chick magnet. STI & evo are just some souped up sedans. Some girls can't even differentiate those stupid ricer waja-evo from the real ones |

The ribenton is crappier than the veyron definitely.
It is just a dressed up lp640. I would take an SV in a heartbeat then buy an island somewhere |

QUOTE(OC4/3 @ Sep 12 2009, 12:56 AM) Mid engine, ultra low cars will always have poor visibility.I'd still rock an LP640 as DD. The suspension lift is useful for some of our stupidly high speedbumps. Btw, saw a white Maserati GT today in Kota Damansara. Didn't manage to take pics coz i'm on a bike. |

QUOTE(Caveat Emptor @ Oct 3 2009, 07:32 PM) OVER 9000!! that is quite typical.Anyway today I was behind a Carrera, damn funny everytime it stop right in front of speedbump then slowly inch forward until it clears the speedbump. In total there were 6 speedbumps. So there was a line of cars behind me honking the Porsche. Usually if it is a nice car, I'll understand. If it is some riced out evo-wannabe, I'll be pissed |

QUOTE(anType @ Oct 3 2009, 09:46 PM) Not true, there's another Drophead Coupe (blue) in KL, NAF 8 plate, owned by non-royal guy. There are no official RR dealers in KL, but if you have the will and the money, you can import it yourself. It costs RM2.4mil to bring it here and put it on the road, and the roadtax is RM19,000 per year. not too bad..just 0.8% of its value. |

QUOTE(JJ91 @ Nov 7 2009, 09:48 PM) Veilside Fortune RX7Kinda like the front. Fortune kits tend to mess with the design (eg. NSX fortune kit) Hate it or love it thingy. As the name suggests, it does cost a fortune. The rear reminds me of TVR sagaris ![]() |
