Have you ever had a sudden shutdown and couldn't boot up again???

Have to wait either 10-15mins or pull the PSU plug and wait for like 10 sec, then only the Mobo can be powered back up.....

P/s: nothing found regarding the scenario in rebelsheaven nor xtremesystems

erk??? Why overheating pulak???   side panel is open, the PSU fan is spinning slowly and there isn't a lot of things to power...I'm using Silverstone ST56F btw....

Takan itu pun mau overheat     

I OCed my phenom II to 3.2 GHz at 1.3125 volts. I start doing full load tests, no crashes. Then I start increasing my HD 4890 volt to 1.4v and OC that as well. I start another full load test, it crashes and I had to wait a few minutes before I can start my pc back (typical psu overheating symptom). I can also crash the system by sending in 1.4 volts to my phenom II at 3.5 GHz btw(despite being stable).

i used crosshair ii formula n i'm really new in OC. so i google how to oc my proc and found some setting. i used that setting n manage to get 3.5GHz stable. below are the setting.

(200 x 17.5) @ 1.425
VDDNB = +150mv
DDR2 = 2.1V
HT = 1.30V
k8 <-> NB = 1.8GHz
CPU - NB = mult 9

do i really need to set the VDDNB, HT, K8 <-> NB and CPU - NB value? as i know, we only need to adjust the multiplier and frequency.

i cant get 3.8GHz stable, although i increase the voltage up to 1.5V. any idea how to push my system more? or is it at limit? because my max temp during 3dmark06 is 66C.

doesn't matter what u set, as long as cpu-z or other monitorin software givin d desired readin will do. do try out diff config for same amount of volt, some fluctuate while some not... i'll take d latter anytime...   
latest version of ati tool oso can't ah sir? how bout catalyst itself... u can adjust d clock there iirc...

ur on biostar 790gx rite? how bout usin their own hw monitor? it's ok to have slightly higher/lower value in windows coz boards do undervolt/overvolt a 'lil. 

haven't try out d latest atitool, but my last attempt onvista (older version of atitool) was a failure.

i'm a noob in oc so i manage to get it stable for only 3.3ghz

not easy laa bro.... js nw stuck at 274*9 , with this low multi, and my board unable to go too high HTT.. its vy challenging to go 2.5Ghz...
mayb better mobo can do it.... all this will need more time...
if u want do for gaming not really recon 9150e... find other higher clock 1 is better.. but if u want ply, its ok...

acc? yup its useful for k10 Phenom architecture OC... with acc we can even OC higher then non-acc,
