Make sure the firmware you downloaded is 3.0 instead of 3.0.1 as written in #1. Cheers...

anyone care to clarify this point?
* if you have an iTouch, BlackRa1n only supports a tethered jailbreak. This means that once jailbroken you should not let your battery die. If it does die you will need to reconnect it to the computer and use BlackRa1n to boot it. what does it means tethered jailbreak? I'm currently staying in India and will be here for sometime, do I need to switch back to Maxis SIM card before I jailbreak and do I need to use Blackra1n every time my battery dies? I'm using Maxis iPhone3gs. Thank you. |

No, this is not true... I'm still able to see tethering feature after jailbreak 3.1.2... so no worries...
