a fren of mine is getting a set from the US, it shud come as 3.1, is it possible for me to downgrade the fw (saw something like tat on the 1st page) to 3.0, then jailbreak n unlock for him? thanks

guys need help, 2 issues, i read 1st page liao but dun really paham
1) my phone, 16gb 3Gs, JB-ed, 3.0, can i upgrade to 3.12? while retaining JB, if so how? those days i use redsnow 2) my BIL just got his yesterday, comes originally 3.1 from singtel, can that model be JB? |

ok, so now i update like normal to 3.1.2, then only do the rain thingy? and restore wat i have from apt backup? is it safe for me to update my iphone using another computer, rather than the one i sync it with? |

wrong info, just now was trying on my 3G, kenot, brought back home, try with imac, also kenot
then decided to proceed with my 3Gs, done, in a jiffy, donwloading cydia now |

i tot US n UK set also can be jailbreak, kenot unlocked using blackra1n nia
wen i hit make it rain, i also din hear any sound .... i try a few times liao, doesnt work with my 3G (singtel set) |

just gotten another unit of 3gs from singtel
weird, tried twice, kenot jailbreak after geohot keluar, it goes back to restore, no image from the phone, i regarldess how i press n wat i press |
