Has anyone only click update fw to 3.0 then jailbreak it with their iphone and later find your phone faulthy?

Cause instead of restore to 3.0, I click update (to not wipe all my apps and stuffs). After jailbreak, everything seems ok to me.

Usually restore might be a better choice... but yea anyway. Anyone doing the same as I am?

My fren got his iphone 2G updated to 3.0 fw and jailbroken.
But his DIGI isn't working well, it's hard for others to call in his phone...

Anyone with DIGI here that uses iphone 2G has similiar problem?

Oh really? Actually, no.

He just leave the phone in sleep mode while doing his stuffs. I tried calling him, I was prompted into voice message instead of getting through.
I checked his phone signal, there's 4 bars which is fairly good signal.

I suspect his phone have to stay "awake" or else others can't call in.
Or else I'll ask him to test with EDGE off. Might fix it.

Wrong, if I'm not wrong, he's stuck at recovery mode screen, can't even get into homescreen.

I've tried helping a friend who has itchy finger by updating his lock UK iphone 3gs to 3.1.2. It'll just stuck at recovery mode, blackrain could not help unlocking it.
