I sincerely pity David....People READ the guide first before asking question.

Not to show off...my iphone is a virgin and i have zero idea on how to jailbreak, unlock, upgrade to os3 etc....I read and read, and plan and plan....and so far i only ask two questions to this forum to find out a bit more.

Now...i got my iphone upgrade to os3, itunes to 8.2, redsnow to jalbreak, downloaded some stuff from cydia, download iphone browser....and my iphone is still working properly.

People READ!!!!! I find it funny that some say "i have upgrade my phone to os3 using redsnow"....what?? How the hell you do that.

Anyway, Thanks a lot, David for sorting all these resources and it was a great help. I am still reading and trying to understand OpenSSH. Still can't figure out what it is use for...in plain english...sigh. Will try to understand it tonite.

Un-related to jailbreaking. Was helping my frens to jailbreak and from her pc i realise that the first post has this chart. However, using my pc, i cant see this chart. Was wondering how you to activate. Not sure other face the smiliar problem as this chart is very useful to those who want to jailbreak and maybe its just me that i cant see it.

Hi all,

Was helping my fren to jailbreak her 2G iphone. Everything is ok now but somehow her edge is not working anymore. The phone cant get into internet. It does show the "E" logo but can cant connect to anything.

I remember reading somewhere here that people has this similiar problem. Appreciate if anyone know which section and point me the way.. Thanks

Still having this problem with my frens iphone 2.0. Went and upgrade to os3.0, jailbreak, unlock...no problem whatsoever. But her edge is not working. Everything else seems to be working fine. There is an icon E but cant connect to anything.

Help please...
