im using maxis iphone 3gs. im not sure if i should jb my iphone, i wan to jb mainly coz i need to download files on safari, winterboard n free app. but at the same time im scared that jb will cause damage to phone itself. please advise

thanks bro, but how do i choose which software to jailbreak the iphone? i mean, using any of them to jailbreak the result is the same? i can use apps regardless of software i used to jb isit?

so i've jailbroken my i3gs using blackra1n. only installed winterboard and sbsettings. after 1 day exploring, i think jb makes my phone abit bulky, by bulky i mean just like a computer with too many data, i feel abit slower when open setting page, sometimes it freezes for a second, its not as smooth as before anymore. and most importantly, i got disconnected from maxis once every 10 minutes(not included the time i left the phone alone). now im thinking to restore my iphone, tho i really like winterboard themes and sbsettings
