what about backup using itunes?or just sync ur phonebook with outlook if u're using windows.

hi,i'd just upgraded my iphone 3g to 3.1.2 version, i'd follow exactly the steps in iclarified and the problem is,my phone currently can't detect the carrier signal and not even detect my simcard. what might be the cause? hope for help from sifus around here.thanks.
