after 1 month of JBing in 3.0
my iphone suddenly stuck at plug into itunes screen.

when i connect to itune and try to restore. below error occur.
Problem Encountered : iPhone could not be restored, unknown error (28).

i am now not able to do anything sad.gif
I tried update to latest itunes
Restart my laptop
Try it next day
Try it with no other USB plug to my laptop
Try to restore to different firmware
Try to restore in DFU mode

same error come out everytimes i try to restore.
if that a JB issues or hardware problem?
hmm.. so sad..

if u r using i2G, yes u can jb n unlock using redsn0w.
if u r using i3g or i3gs redsnow is just for jailbreaking and to unlock d locked i3G or i3GS u got to use ultrasnow or purplesnow.

my phone is 3g 8gb.
I double confirm that I am using the rite firmware.
I also try to use the auto update where itune download and update for me.

This morning i just tried with my friends MAC, it turn up error 28 too.

What else I can do? sad.gif I tried most of the solution that I can find it through google.
The oversea people were get their phone to a place called genius bar.
if malaysia, any place that I can bring my phone to get it fixed?
