i'm also failed to jailbreak using blackrain.
my set official-unlock 3G using windows XP anybody face the same problem as me.I try more than 5 time already restore and try jailbreak it |

i know..already update to 3.1.2 (using restore .ipsw)
upon jailbreak it using Blackra1n my phone did not show "GeoHot". Now i try upgrade it official using itune download for 3.1.2, see how it work or not. It's ITunes version will cause of it make me unable to jailbreak. look like for the 3G version can't been jailbreak by Blackra1n.
i'm 1 of user 3G, unable to jailbreak using blackra1n |

yes, manage to jailbreak my Iphone 3g after more than 50 failed using windows xp.
Here what i done, just install sp3 to your xp. Restart, plug in and make it rain Once you see geohot face on iphone, you done. |

If you using windows xp, try install sp3.
Try again on 3g, it should work. I jailbreak my 3G 8gb using XP sp3. |
