my bro iphone is UK set,software unlock,. now with ver 3.0.1 and 04.26.08 firmwire.
what should i do 1st, upgrade to v3.1.2? the unlock via - www.blackra1n.com [already download ]

Update thru iTunes to 3.1.2. Automatically the baseband will upgrade to 5.11.07 too.
Then download blackra1n. Install it and run blacksn0w. Don't forget to install Cydia also.

But i found a problem.. After we restore to latest firmware, and ra1n my phone. My phone will still in inactive status, a cable and itunes icon in phone, Slide to emergency call only and when plug in cable and connect iTunes, there will a message said Sim Card unsupported.

How to solve this if we don't have AT&T sim card?

Yeap, for RC3 it comes with Cydia and Rocks. Icy has been replaced with blacksn0w.

Try to enter recovery mode and make your iPhone ra1n.

Yupp.. make it ra1n in recovery mode already. After ra1n, the phone still in Emergency call only screen.

hmmm sorry to ask this, but are you sure you d/led the lastest blackra1n ? bcos the latest blackra1n comes with hacktivation and should work.

make sure your itunes is updated ver.. Else u will stuck here..

Oh.. i see. This is the meaning of hacktivation. Thx alot.

You should see 3 option there.

1) Cydia
2) Rocks
3) sn0w

Please tick on the sn0w package as well. This will unlock your phone

Yeah tried it in the morning 1am heheh.. it works pretty good .. easy to use as well.. took me less than a minute or so to get my locked US Iphone jb'd and unlocked .... well about a min plus la hehhe
