can someone please help me..i am jailbreaking a 2g phone...after blackrain it just shows slide for emergency call and not springboard..but there is celcom network shown.never had such a problem when i did 3gs?
am on windows 7...used 2 pc's same result what am i doing wrong?

no 3.1.2.

bro relax...be patient it will work .Just keep pressing power and home button and never let go .My take close to 20 seconds,the apple logo will come out then let go power button and keep holding home button and make it rain

This i got before.Its your cydia which did not download properly that caused this.You need to restore again and redownload cydia properly.Make sure got proper internet connection

Try home then while pressing home plugin usb or my earlier method of pressing both the power and home till logo comes then release power.Most of the time works

yea, when i dling dat time, dc after i finish dled cydia so i reconnect bak n dl snow only n tis is wat happended if u hv unstable connection sad......

Blackra1n is a great tool and Geohot is a genius.I also managed to jb my 3gs using blackra1n but it's not consistent for other devices.
Tried many times on a 2g but never worked.Finally i had to use a custom firmware made from Pwnage for the 2g.This works all the time.
In terms of consistency Dev-Team's software like redsnow always works,unfortunately it is not available for 3.1.2

uninstall winscp and uninstall open ssh.restart pc and iphone and reinstall all again and see

no his is not maxis set.His itunes cant detect the phone so cant do restore also

uninstall by deleting winscp i guess.Clear all previous connection as well.

go to cydia and uninstall bro
