tis new update can fix my interner tethering can't funtion problem?
I using 3gs v3.1.2
I'm digi user.

mine is 3.1.2 too....does it mean it will crash too?

so overall means the reason causes iphone to crash is the 3rd party applications?
I'm facing crashes since the day i jb my iphone.. looks like i need to update to 3.1.2 and install application 1 by 1 to ensure every 3rd party application is stable....

or any other option suggestion? hehe...

Hi guys, i got my iphone 3gs from maxis and out of the box, its os 3.1, wanna know :
1. Should i upgrade to 3.1.2 firmware through itunes and then jailbreak it    using BlackRa1n? or i can straight away jailbreak in os 3.1?

2. If i download BlackRa1n RC2 means i can install ICY as well? Cause they said its unstable in RC1

3. Can i jailbreak using BlackRa1n in windows vista?

Guys, I got a quite a Noob question actually... Just want to reconfirm though..
My gf uses a Maxis 3GS  sync with Macbook, and she wants me to help her JB her phone after she saw mine has so many nice themes.. Just wondering, must I JB her phone using her Macbook or could I just use my PC to do it for her? Cause BlackRain can JB the phone in like 1 minute? whilst Pwnagetool takes quite sometime...

So far the stuff I have downloaded, shows on the data usage but there are people who say that some things don't get recorded(but I have not seen em yet)

Uhh that wasn't what we were talking about.. dinozilla was asking, if when we use cydia to d/l stuff via 3G network (of course) if it will show in the usage meters, as there are claims that it doesn't, but so far for me, everything has showed.

3.1.2 hv several bug fix n yes it stable. otherwise, apple will not release a new fw.

if u r windows user, use blackra1n. if mac, then use pwnage tool.

so for unofficial set, how do i unlock using MAC if i jb using pwange tool?

planning to upgrade to 3.1.2 using Pwnage
so all i have to do is tick the "Activate the phone" as it is asked in tutorial right?

u can set as activated in pwnage tools and unlock ur phone using ultrasn0w via cydia....have u accidentally update ur phone through itunes?

Some good news coming from GeoHot, for all the users that updated to firmware 3.1.2 and also updated their baseband. George is working on a iPhone unlock called BlackSn0w and it seems his getting closer to finding a solution.

If you take a look at the picture above, you can read the following:

Don’t expect Blacksn0w to be released in the next couple of days tho, because GeoHot said on twitter that it is still ways away. However, judging by how buggy is blackra1n, i really hope the iPhone DevTeam is close on finding a solution as well, and they will update ultrasn0w soon.

As soon as we have more info on Blacksn0w, or iPhone unlock we will keep you updated. Stay tuned…

guys... i already updated to the Itunes 9.0.2 & i tried shift+restore & used the firmware 3.1.2 but the itunes said got error.. any body know wat happen?

got question here, i receive another i3gs 2 days ago.
out of the box with OS 3.1.2 and 5.11.07
then i straight away jb with blackra1n.
after dload few app.,just notice at cydia. - This Device has a pending TSS request. 

my other i3gs got this - This device has a 3.x ECID SHSH on file.

- how to make it got this ECID SHSH?

just gotten another unit of 3gs from singtel
weird, tried twice, kenot jailbreak
after geohot keluar, it goes back to restore, no image from the phone, i regarldess how i press n wat i press

i realised that if u reboot, or shut down ur iPhone after this blackra1n, will need to boot with blackra1n or else cannot start.

this is annoying

got some bugs with windows 7 now....i read it from somewhere today....here is the link  windows 7 sycn prob with iphone....u try it on xp sp3...
