settlers of Catan? I know the board game version. Will try if they have lite version, it depends on the AI if the AI is good this will be a good game (for board game geek).

Speaking of board game... anyone tried Wargame (lite version) from Jemast (icon looks like mushroom cloud.. red & yellow color scheme)..

Kinda like a deeper version of Risk. Seveval unit types, each faction have its own strength, simple spying mechanism, lovely graphic and presentation.

Liked it but felt its pricing is a bit off, definitely buy it if it drops too 99cents since it dont have diplomacy & economic mechanics.

Yes! It is sort of free to get the game. But when you deplete your shield for the day,

you need to buy it through microtransactions, or you could wait until the next day to

play the game. Something like Mafia War's for the iPhone.

But when you deplete your shield for the day,
you can still play but your performance is not tracked and you won't get rewarded with credits.

QUOTE
An extremely common misconception is that you can no longer play when you're out of energy. The fact of the matter is you continue playing Eliminate for as long as you want, your character's progress will just be stopped until the next recharge and it will take a few seconds longer for you to get matched in to a game. That's it. If you're happy just playing a few matches each day while earning credits and the rest of the time just playing for fun, you never need to spend a cent on Eliminate

Thanks for the clarification. I meant to say that you can't actually 'play', in terms of

your rankings will not be register/tracked by the server, which is bad. And it is not

recommended to be played on a 2G. Cause sometimes, it lags in terms of frame rate.

I know what you mean. Playing when energy was depleted lacks sense of purpose.

Anyone bought energy cell over itune already? it says RM0.99 for 20 energy cells..

I am thinking 99 cent is pretty cheap unless the currentcy is a typo for USD, which is the standard currentcy of itune.

Anyone purchased Simcity...is that worth for the price of USD$2.99?
*
I did. I am not sure what you mean by if 2.99 was worth it, if I compare it to the orginal price then yes its worth it because 2.99 was 50% off of that.

but consider

Theres not other city simulation games selling at USD$2.99.
There is no city simulation game in iphone except this one, if I am not mistaken.

I got some other games that cost 2.99. But I do find the contents in Simcity better then typical 2.99 games had to offer. So yes to me it is worth it.

Of course this version of iphone Simcity is waterdown abit compare to PC version.
1) Cannot manipulate terrain. ie make lakes or hills.
2) THeres no hill. you start with a level terrain. but you can influence how big rivers can get and where shore lines are in your map.
3) Buildings like school dont have area of effect radius, such that placing them side by side is Ok. but you do need to maintain the ratio of such buildings to your populace.

Other than that it looks pretty solid as mobile game. I still havent figure out how to increase my mostly average land value. But I sorta like having able to make farms, airports & naval docks. And bringing in high tech industirals.
