I've bought some Cooler Master fans from a forumer here last 2 months, and now one of my fans is damaged so I want to claim my warranty. To my surprise, he said that the fan only carries 3 months warranty! I asked him to double check this issue with his supplier and still I get the same answer.
When I checked another seller's thread, he states that the same fan carries 1 year warranty!
I was confused so I called Ban Leong Technologies, they also said that all Cooler Master fans comes with at least 1 year warranty and it is also stated in their warranty policy at the Cooler Master website. Ban Leong customer serice even told me that I can argue/complain to the shop that I, as a Cooler Master customer deserves 1 year warranty!
I can still exchange my damaged fan since its still under warranty, but why is one shop providing only 3 months while another shop provides 1 year warranty??!
Cooler Master IS Cooler Master, doesn't matter where you buy it right?!
So what should I do now?
Thanks!
*Note: Please do not ask me whom I bought the fan from. Please note that I'm also not blaming anyone but I'm trying to clear up some confusions. Thanks!
