My sis send me her son's NDS with the question if I can get it repaired somewhere, I haven't got a clue where this can be done, does anyone where they have this kind of service?

If you need spare parts, than www.dealextreme.com is the place to go.

Careful, I've checked out the site and nowhere in the site does it list repair parts for the DS (or the Wii for that matter...) Loads of different cards for sale though

Well there's one shop near Bangsar which is like kinda a specialist at repairing consoles including the Nintendo DS Lite. Check the owner's thread http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/984532

Sounds like a busted LCD screen to me, which can either be cheap (if you grab from sites like dealxtreme which come with their own let the buyer beware caveat but have a great price advantage), or pricey if you get one of the shops to order a replacement screen for you. I think we're talking about RM100-RM150 pricey but the shops will know better. Bernard of Gamers Solutions is known to do quite a bit of DS repairs and is experienced at that sort of thing.
