if per your topic question:
Answer: Not automatically doomed, but u'll have to work extra hard to get to where u wan. You will also feel jealous and perhaps unfair, when u be in such situations:
u work for 4~5 years in a company, to just move up a post or two. Then comes this fresh grad, and he becomes your manager. Efforts of what took u years to be where u are, this dude climbs on top of you :/

if to your question in thread:
For SPM, u can only apply diploma courses in IPTA. unfortunately as Jac said, application has been closed.

An option for u here is (my humble opinion); u can always work and study part time. A few of my friends did that. One was working as sales executive while studying law part-time. But bear in mind this will be very taxing. But with effort and will power, nothing is impossible smile.gif

Another friend of my gf, started working after SPM. Now (at age of 23), the last time we saw her, she was working at an MNC, with a rather high post (forgot wat post, but bottomline is, she's earning like 5~6k per month)

So all's not dead and gone my dear friend smile.gif hope is there if u have a will
