I think IPTA application was closed..
have you try to apply TARC for psychology?
it is quite affordable..
fees are not the main problem, because you can loan from ptptn with the terms that you need to get at least 5 credits in your SPM..
If you really in a hard time, why dont you take STPM over there?
Its the cheapest pre-U compare to A Levels,etc..

Thanks so much for your views and suggestions concerning my situation.

I want to ask another question though...

I'm considering working full-time to save up before I head to college, so I'm talking about heading to next year's intake.

So, will PTPTN still consider sponsoring my education even if I'm holding a 2008 SPM graduate slip to enter college in 2010?

Sure,why not??

actually with ptptn loan...there's no saying that you still cant afford studying ktar/utar
this is because for e.g,
-a diploma course in ktar cost less than rm7k....and ptptn loan gives you 10k...
-a degree course in utar cost around 28k...and ptptn loan up to 40k....

Yea..so besides paying for fees you still can make it as your living expenses, buy reference book,etc..

if you're hardworking enough to work part time and dont simply spend your money, your parents wont even need to fork out any money to support you also, you can be totally independent.

Thats right..
TS, there is alot of weekend part time job,and the salary is quite high(depends on each job)
so dont worry about financial, you could be independent..
