Chawanmushi is damn easy to make. You can make it on your own if you want.

For restaurant with nice ambience. You can go to Kampachi Pavillion. The chef there was great last time. We wanted something not on the menu and the chef made it for us anyway. It was croquette. Not something easy to make right off the bat cause you have to take some time to boil the potatoes.

Another nice place is Tomoe Subang Jaya. Super good ambience and workers. Super expensive too. 200 for 2 enough for chawanmushi plus normal stuff. Premium stuff better shell out 400.

Better order sake too. 14% alcohol. Get her drunk and ......=) just joking. Sake taste really good.

Not bento set la. Normal sushi like prawn sushi, salmon, tuna. Yakiniku, soba stuff grilled fish, tempura....200 can eat until satisfied i think.

Not normal stuff is like otoro, chutoro, octopus, sukiyaki, wagyu beef....

Normal sushi abour 5 per sushi...normal dish about 15-20 per dish

Not normal is like 20-30 per sushi...30-60 per dish....100+ per 100g of beef....sweet

If price not an issue, seriously go to Tomoe, Subang Jaya. Located opposite SJMC, same row with Rakuzen Subang Jaya. The row with many Jap restaurants. The food there is seriously EXCELLENT. When I went twice, majority of customer were not Malaysia but Japanese expats.
