Hello guys and girls,

Recently my fren from Australia asked me to help her to buy a few medical books from M'sia(cheaper here I guess) and initially she thought she'll be coming to M'sia to collect but the plan doesn't go well so now I've to post it to her xD I can't send it via PosLaju because it's gonna cost me a fortune to do so, therefore I was thinking of sending it via registered pos(pos daftar) but I've nvr send any item to Australia before, I've tried sending stuff that weigh 10kg to UK before and it cost me Rm100, is the price be the same? I wish to ask for some opinion here.

1)How much will it normally cost for me to send 2 books(quite thick, weigh around 3-5kg) to Australia? Will the price be the same if I were to post it from KL to Australia or from Kedah to Australia?
2)I was wondering whether the custom will or will not intercept the parcel?
3) How long will it take for the parcel to arrive at Australia?

Thxs in advance for ur precious feedback.
