I've been playing on the new rf online server from ccr, but I suddenly have this problem where i click on the icon to launch the game it only comes up the " Connecting To Launcher Update Server " and then it disappear after about 5 minute or so. I've tried Re-installing the program, Re-download the installer and install it, close all firewall and antivirus programs & last of all format my system but I still get the same problem. I have send a ticket to their website but for a week already they still haven't reply to my complain, so I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a solution to this problem or any professional want to help me solve this problem. By the way if you're interested in the game visit www.playrf.com. Let me Thanks in advance for all those who read this post.

If they didn't block malaysia IP (which i don't think they would since it's global)than there might be some problem with your internet connection. The problem only occur when internet connection is very slow, server too crowded, server is offline,or there is a new patch is going on.I don't play global but private server so the problem that you're facing is just exactly the same with the private server.

BTW,what race are you playing??? I might try out global too and also the new update they got.

Its the local ISP fault. There is no IP block to any countries except for Phil, BR.

I have started a RFO thread but its buried due to lack of interest.

thx for replying to my problem, I'm currently using p1 wimax at home and the cc I usually go to uses streamyx and they have no problem with connecting to the server. Then I ask another friend of mine to to try copying my client to his computer, he also have no problem connecting to the game. I'm really "down" right now, I have no problem surfing webs, downloading & streaming. It's just that i cannot connect to the game. BTW I'm playing as bellato there right now.

Hmm...if that's the case, try to use hotspot shield vpn and connect to the server. If you can connect using it,then there's something wrong with your P1,they might block you from accessing RF Global.

Its not P1 fault either. Contact CCR.INC to unblock P1's IP range since P1 is relatively new to Malaysia's ISP market.

thx u 2, but I've send a error report, posted in their so-call "forum" & send a ticket straight to their admins more than a week ago. They still haven't reply to my problem yet so far. As for that hotspot shield vpn, I haven't heard of such a thing before so I don't know how to use or where to download it. Please forgive me for my insufficient knowledge in this, but can you give me a link to read about this?

You can download it here > http://www.hotspotshield.com/

Just install hotspot shield itself not other software offered in the same installer. After you finish install just double click it to run and it will open up web browser to connect to the server.you can close the web browser after you see connected word.

Ya, that works well too. Make sure your OS isnt a 64bit as it have no support for that. There is work around to make that work but its going to be tedious for the process.

Good luck!

I've just tried the vpn. I still can't log into the game, but it have gotten better cause I can see the log in menu now. When I type in my username and password it just pop some unknown character and close the client. Anyway I also realise that my DNS is not changing even though I restart or reset the modem, so I'm thinking it could be my dns ip now is "stuck" at their server so I can't login. I'll call p1 later and see if they can change it at their side.
