i think its just because they can't use the weapon made by kairoseki without it canceling their devil fruit power which is more powerful for them. also, if used by non-df power user, it might interfere with their own allies that have the power

the gold hair sister was quite okay looking in flashback in anime
the green hair sister one however have big face to begin with
