tbh the marine could have won this battle long ago, since they have something the pirates don't - which is Kizaru.

He could've disintegrated anything that is essentially matter by speeding through them with the speed of light, yet he chose to fire some pathetic beams out of his index finger. >_> sometimes I think Oda has made a big mistake by introducing such an ability yet just scratching the surface of it's potential. I don't think even dimension-manipulating powers can damage him since Light itself has no physical mass whatsoever.
