QUOTE actually the manga isnt that far from the anime, just the hancock arc in amazon lily, and then impel down it is!!! lulz i just started reading one piece like, 2 weeks ago tongue.gif wow. i'd consider that as an achievement if you started from luffy's day 1 and all the way to impel down in 2weeks time. |

crocodile is pretty much standing on a firing squad's range don't yguys think? jimbei bombarding them marines with "water spear" and some high-rise tidal wave below his feet. I'd be surprised if he appears to be devoid of H2O the next chapter.

I kinda hope Jimbei will give Luffy some beating (without killing him of coz) coz I'm getting tired of his same shit, different day techniques.

Whitebeard - the arch rival and the only person to have had a draw against Roger decided to bring his son up and take over his place? I'm not convinced at all with this poor excuse of a plot. I'm hoping Sengoku is just pulling everyone's legs.

WHERE THE HELL ARE ALL THE SEASTONES?
This is starting to get a little annoying. We have all the big players now flamboyantly displaying their abilities and both side seems to have forgotten about the kryptonite of devil fruit users. No wonder Sengoku said even with sheer military power they might be standing at the losing end. When you fail to harass such a powerful disable weapon the outcome of the battle is really obvious. Boooo! |

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Aug 26 2009, 06:55 PM) I know this is from some time back but in the Skypiea arc, Usopp saw someone repairing Going Merry in the night when they were having party with wolves - who was it that was doing the repairing? Sorry this goes way back to episode 180++ because I am now chasing One Piece only. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Aug 26 2009, 07:15 PM) Is this a serious answer? I was just wondering cause I was how they fell in the army base with Commander Jonathan and the ship repair man was saying something bout someone repairing the ship at night but he didnt finished the sentence and wasnt sure if it ever got out to the audience... Curious. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

well.. i think Oda is smart enough not to include a power that contradicts the weakness of DF users.
but just for the "what-if" case, maybe the user can only create/control water on land but not at the sea. very much like "Pyro" from the X-men. btw why now still haven't release the new chapter? This post has been edited by Haruhi: Aug 28 2009, 10:27 PM |

to be honest, i hope something bad happens to her (hancock).
maybe luffy will leave her to be as how she was initially at her island and fell sick. I do enjoy the chemistry between them but sometimes I think the plot is too "happy" for the setting of one piece. we're talking about pirates here, something tragic HAS to happen! the breakaway of luffy and his nakama was really good. kinda lit up my interest again on this manga. |

i've been wondering.. there's no solid evidence saying that haki disables a logia user's permeability right? Kinda like a stab from behind to Blackbeard.
I mean, Blackbeard's power is really unique when it was first introduced due to the ability to cancel out devil fruit powers. Besides, I think he's a strong enough character to be able to control haki. And it's even better, you strike your opponent head-on instead of pulling them towards you and taking a few hits at the same time. |

lulz, the technology timeline is really crazy once you think about it. At one end we have gunpowder rifles with round bullets and battleships, and another end we have 3 concert-size plasma TV live broadcasting World War III with reporters updating the livecast.
