B4 i start briefing, i just want to say that i am not earning any commission or benefits if i do successfully refer entreprenuers to participate in this event. I am just an event coordinator and just want to share information to the entreprenuers and jobseekers.

Moderator are welcomed to delete this post if i have violated the forum's rules and regulations.



There will be an exhibition for job seeker to looking for job and entreprenuer to promote their product and services to the public as well.
Since this is an business topic part, so i will focus on the Entreprenuer part only.




Here is the brief details of the event.

NATIONAL CAREER & ENTREPRENEURSHIP CARNIVAL 2009.
Venues: PWTC , KL
Date: 15th - 17th May 2009
Time: 10a.m - 7p.m
Organized by: Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi
Cost : RM0.00 Absolutely FREE. Not charging any fees to the participator.100% FREE!! Goverment pay all the fees.



This exhibition will be the largest career and entrepreneur fair in the country entering the Malaysia Book of Record. 500 - 1000 companies will be invited to this fair. In short the exhibition will be a great platform for recruitment of human resources and the promotion of business opportunity.


Objective:
· To create a platform for opportunities between private and government sectors to address unemployment issues in Malaysia.
· To provide a jobseekers and the unemployed with better career opportunities.
· To encourage the country's workforce to become better equipped with knowledge and relevant skills in order to stay competitive globally.



Benefits of Participating:
· Established and trusted career fair.
· Access to a huge pool of proven, interested candidates from virtually every field.
· Wider platform provides multiple opportunities to showcase careers and branding.
· Marketing activity targeted at drawing well-qualified job seekers.


Since the event is goverment Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi, so there will be no charges to the participator.

Entreprenuers that want to promote their services and products can participate in this event and it will be an good opportunities for entreprenuer to promote without paying any fees. Free booth and heading will be provided (table and chair as well) . Size will be 2m*2m , 2m*3m or 3m*3m depends on your nature , size of business.

May I know if there is any limitations (e.g limitation of sectors or job nature)? When is the due date for submission? I have to discuss with my group to see if they are interested in accompanying me there. Thank you for the information.

The event comprised of Entreprenuer and Company part.

Therefore, we are also inviting companies to participate into this event to provide jobs and vacancies to the jobseekers and fresh graduates.

We currently have 400+ companies which include lot of Public Listed Companies are also with us already.

Therefore, any company that wish to take this chance to recruit people may call me for more details. FYI, company that wish to take part into the event are not allowed to promoting their products and services beside recruiting people in the event.

Only Entreprenuer are allowed to promoting their services and products to the customers.

Advertisement of the event is starting from today on all newspaper, fm and television. You may take a look in the medium like berita malaysia, the star, new strait time , sinchew, fm , astro and etc.

I don't understand why kementerian pengajian tinggi is organising a career & entrepreneruship fair.....it doesn't sound relevant to me. I hope the kementerian is spending wisely to some event manager to organise something under their ministry. I say the kementerian should do more campaign in encouraging Malaysian to continue higher education and realise the importance. Just like in europe, more than 50% of their population has higher education in its new generation. Career fair & entrepreneurship should be done under human resources & entrepreneur ministry. Besides, isn't there already such fair in the market for years? Why the ministry spending to create another clone event? Don't we deserve something more creative and beneficial event under the organisation of Ministry of Higher Education?

I just don't get it. rclxub.gif As a tax payer, I have started to feel dissatisfy & frustrated to see government simply spending our money.

i have the list of companies that participate into the event which include some of the biggest companies in Malaysia eg. SimeDarby, Maybank, Public Bank, Petronas and other Public listed companies.
i am not sure whether i can post it a not at here but i can assure you wont be dissapointed with the companies that participate into the event.
There will be more than 10000 job available in the fair as well.

Besides , more than 40 recruitment agencies will be there to provide jobs to the candidates and they are providing more than 2000 jobs.

So far we have already have 560+ companies are confirmed to participate and we are targetting 600 companies into the event.



We advised candidates to pre-register online so they dont have to queue up for registration of their resume and information during the event as we expect there will be large number of crowd will register at the counter there last minute even we have more than 20 or 40 helpers to assist for registration.

yaya, this event is introduced specially for the people who are looking for jobs, we need you register and post ur resume online so that you dont have to register at the counter there.

And you must register in order to go into the event, register just spend you few minutes, don't waste this chance that might change your life entirely.
