just wondering, if were to get nokia 5800, is it recommended to get Ori or AP?
I heard certain AP will help to install Garmin inside as well right?

i just found out that the difference between AP set and Ori set is around RM120.
But then AP set provide 24 months warranty, Ori only 12 months. Anyhow, how stable is the OS of this nokia? considering it as a basic smart phone, one of the main reason i should consider ORI because of the support of the OS or update of the firmware. very worried if i were to get AP get and have any OS problem, then the AP company might not support me as good as those Nokia centre did. advice? |

QUOTE(J-Slade @ May 16 2009, 08:57 PM) The OS of the Nokia 5800 is the Symbian S60 5th Edition which is a new operating system based on the already stable S60 3rd Edition. The only addition is the touch device that it is. Although development for this OS is still very new but it is nonetheless developing. In fact if I have not mistaken the Nokia 5800 is the first device using s60v5. so is this OS stable so far? any problem?QUOTE(qwe65 @ May 16 2009, 09:41 PM) CSL only 15 months. Telstra offering 24 months. I had experience with CSL. Good support, nearly as good as ORI. But i'm not sure about Telstra. Any ppl use Telstra be4/QUOTE(moniqee @ May 16 2009, 10:17 PM) well... AP warranty n Ori Warranty is different u know.. yea, tat's wat making me considering now. If AP like CSL, it's trustable. But AP like Telstra, long warranty, but dunno how good is their technical support like.Ori set.... if got any problems... can juz terus Hantar to any NCC in malaysia if AP set... if any problems... ( u HAVE to go back to the shop u bought ur hp from ... ) n it depends on the shop to charge u on the repair or not... ^^ |
