Apps > Location > Positioning > Positioning methods
+Assistted GPS
+Intergrated GPS
+Network based

and also

Apps > Location > Positioning > Positioning server
+Positioning server use = Automatic
+Access point = Maxis 3G / Celcom 3G / Or Digi 3G
+Server address = supl.nokia.com

did ur garmin soft was full version? try using Nokia maps see got gps signal or not. If got then it ur garmin software encounter problem.
