It's nice, but i dont think the risk worth taken. esp with my TX, after 5 years is a long time though.

i used this to cut... nice round shape...



but darn hard to cut... need at least a industril impact drill, the biggest to fit it in.
burn my hand twice last time coz touch it after drill... now use water to cool it down but the water boils

I know NOTHING about PSU... but, that look DANGEROUS! Great job tho

it doesn't really cost much...
but u must be able to handle it with care and be sure to take safety precautions + perform it properly with the right tools in a well conditioned room =P

Well...I'm want to ask whether anyone tried to copy the 'nice' version of the DIY modular PSU not the 2nd version 1.

if found the socket in the pic,sure better.
i think the molex socket is not suitable,is too big.

and the only mod i've ever done to a psu was slamming it with a hydro-pneumatic hammer set at 1 tonne force

warranty gone to hell xD
