No need alt.dol. I manage to boot direct from disc channel. I update system menu to 4.1 only through wakinono 4.1 system upgrader. Then update WSCU (shop channel to ver 4.2). Everything is working fine from WSR to Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero 5. Normally game can't launch because of incorrect IOS ver install. You need to know which game using which version of IOS. Wakinono 4.1 system upgrader will normally refresh your few essential IOS ver.if you mean update = neogamma 0.3 --> neogammaR6 = ok, no probs...=)
