i agree, didn't really like it. and the graphics is below par. it wouldn't matter if the gameplay is good, but it isn't. very good rating for this game, but i didn't like it.

well, i read that without wii motion plus u rely on timing, hit early ball goes left, hit late ball goes right (if forehand). but with wii motion plus, although timing still plays a role, it also depends on how u hit the ball. as in real tennis, if u want the ball to go left you angle the swing to your left. so it should have more control with practice. anyway, tell me after some time using it.....

yeah only 3 so far, if u exclude the wii sports resorts to be out 26 jul on NTSC/US. i haven't really counted, but there should be close to 10 by year end. the hype now is wii sports resorts, which is bundled is wm+ . but u will need at least another one to play multiplayer.

by end of year there will be 8 games with wm+ support. not many but enough i guess. i am already eyeing 4 out of those 8 games.

played wii sport resort with my kid yesterday. well not really, coz her friends were there to grab d remote from me. they especially like the canoeing, air sports, and archery. so busy playing they forget about me. well, didn't play much to give my thoughts yet, but is nice to see them enjoy tremendously. but i notice the motion plus do get out of synch if jerk the wiimote wildly. for example for adults they know how paddling should should be done, but for kids they just gasak only with very wild movements, and after a while it will throw the motion plus out of sync. now, that's not quite up to expectations. although there is a remedy to it, it needs to be initiated by the player himself.

u need more practise, trust me. the wm+ is not one to one for gst, but is definitely more sensitive then wii sports tennis.
u just need to relearn how to play tennis the gst way. once u have a hang of it, u will notice u have considerable control of where u want to place the ball, and the spin of the ball. so wm+ gets really necessary to improve your gst tennis. u will not able to go hardcore with gst without wm+.

as for the wm+ going off sync, i dono, just recalibrate i guess. i notice if u point the wiimote at the screen after each point, the wm+ will behave better. but points lost because of off sync doesn't really happen so often. maybe once every 30 or so strokes. so its tolerable.

i don't think i will miss my traditional controller so much. motion controls are here to stay. i just wonder why microsoft and sony took so long for them to react to this change. As early as 2005 when wii prototype motion control, they thought it was just a fad, 2006 when wii was launch, they still tought it was a fad. 2008 when WM+ prototype was introduced, then only they start seriously looking into this. 2009 when wii released WM+ then only they start showing their prototypes. If sony/microsoft were not so stubborn, there would be serious competition as early as 2007.

another thing anoying is recently i bought a wiimote charger that has a docking station. now that i have wm+ i can't charge the wiimote with the wm+ attached. and very mafaan to keep removing it everytime i want to charge. so now i am back using batteries. oh well......btw, does anybody know where i can get that charger that uses induction to charge... meaning don't need to peel off the jacket to charge?

i takut my wm+ will fly away or wear faster, coz no condom to hold it tightly in place. i already have 3 wm+ so no thanks. but 85rm is really cheap.

ask around. distributors are picky depending on saleability. i remember when US released the WSR with 1 WM+ bundle, it was just a matter of days (i think it was just 3 days) to arrive in malaysia. WSR with 2 WM+ bundle is not as hot as the former. So it will take some time to reach malaysia. It has not even reach PA.

yeah, with the wii m+, requires lota practice to be really good, and when u think u are really good already, try playing online. when i play online then only realize how weak i am compared to those hardcore gamers out there.

I notice the bandwidth requirement for online is quite high. for people owning a 1Mb/s or less broadband line, is best to play online during less peak periods like early in the morning. As bandwidth requirement is high, your oppenent actions will not flow fluidly for u to read his moves well.

relax la. modded wii is like that. don't be so demanding on your modded wii. give it a break. i am sure at the end of the day its worth the hassle. u can go to the hacking forums for some ideas.

u load the game first. if can, then good. if cannot, then means there is some work to do, like visit forums, download and load patches, and etc. eventually after a hard days work, it would work. else visit another forum and try again. but if u are an expert (probably means u moderate those forums), then u can do it with your eyes close

2010 has titles like red steel 2, gladiator a.d., and another game i forgot. Zelda 2 is rumoured to support wm+ too.

don't think it will reach 12 by end 2010. so yeah not many. i can think of a lot of titles that can make good use of wm+. Precision dancing games, robin hood type games, boxing, street fighter type games, more sport games.....but none of them seem to even be in the pipeline. waiting for sony/natal ke?

we not arguing aren't we. we were discussing. i don't take it personal so don't worry. actually i have no issues with pimping wii. its piracy that i have issues. it affects me coz now i am back in malaysia, i can't find even a single game in my 'want' list. so i macam drug addict that haven't got his fix. so i am hitting on all the pirates, and nintendo for not thinking like sony.
