Err yaa ... why no Rune Factory Frontier thread?

My character is level 40 now! Just cleared the Lava Ruins last night, and tomorrow is first day of Autumn!

The DS one took away my life, so I better not play this one first and finish that one first.

I'm a sucker for this franchise, beat the main story at 110 hours, but still haven't got married yet

How could you have not gotten married yet? busy killing monsters until no time to woo the ladies?

I actually had the girl that I like at 10 LP since long ago, but there's a lot requirements just to get married, I end up finishing the main story first

haha. Well, what does getting married give this time besides the baby again?

LP = Love points ... how is this different from that smiley face ah?

I mean for example I've been giving tons of grass to that hot springs girl, at 10 smiley face but only 2 love icons.

Based on my experience, you would have to give that love interest the thing she likes. The smiley would mean how many times you've given things to her and how many times you've talked.

i have the game, but didn't put my time into it yet...
still dungeon crawling in TP...and boy, is that game long...>.<", i had it since i have my wii, but then i put it down for a while to play other games and i wanna complete this before getting involve in my other games...

last game i beaten? ToS 2 with the best ending...final boss was though...(and i was under leveled...XD)

i'll play this one sometime far in the future i guess...not that i don't like this game, but no mood to play HM style games for the moment...and still got lots of others to complete besides RFF as well...

RFF = Harvest Moon with dungeon crawling, but a lot more complicated and time draining than it...the only thing i don't like about HM series is that it becomes a "chore" after one year plus of gameplay...XD

i bought wii coz of this game. harvest moon on ps2 all phail big time . but 1thng diffrnt, on ds the grphc much better. and the girls pretier on ds too..

Now i just want to get all the marriage requirement events of all girls.
And then get married and have a daughter with Selphy.

One criticism I have is that there is too little guidance given from in-game. I don't want my hand to be held, but then practically every single thing needs to refer to FAQs of some sort (example being the Runeys ... zzzz).

Anyway I've got 2 main problems ... firstly is that I'm still confused between LP and FP for the girls. Every single FAQ I've read says "give this girl this thing and it will raise your LP." But as far as I can tell, giving gifts raises FP, not LP.

e.g. I just gave Iris a bunch of flowers and she is now at 1 FP but 0 LP.

Another is the monsters in my barn ... how come they never go past 1 FP huh? I've had a sheep for at least 1 month now, I've got more than enough feed, I've petted him every single day, and yet he's still at 1FP. Do I really also need to take him out?

^Dude, Iris likes Tamato juice, it's easy to mass produce them.
All you need is a blender, if you don't have the recipe, just put 1 tomato in and you'll get the Tomato juice.

Is there a brush for that sheep? Bcuz the brush and cutting its wool raises things too.

that glove thing to tame monster can be use as brush. i have problem finding silver and clearing tree stump on my farm. it seems it's kinda hard to level up your equipments

liquid >> You need to go into Lava Ruins B2-B3-ish and smash rocks there to get some silver, then upgrade your hammer first. Then in the green ruins first floor, cut vines -> turn left -> turn left -> cut vines -> go left -> smash rocks and through the door, there's 4 stones there that if you SP smash it'll give you 1-2 silver every time.

For the tree stumps, axe + scrap iron + scrap iron a few times until you get a level 3-4 axe so that the RP requirements drop. Then you can clear more stumps per day

Well, that glove is the brush. So you did things correctly, but you also need to use the Harvester to get its wool and skin em dry. It will grow again and then will slowly grow more for ya.

Your FP will also grow that way.

Some monsters takes a lot of time to increase their FP, even with daily brush, I got 2 monsters stuck at 1 FP for the whole Spring.

What you can do to boost the FP level is make a request to Candy for a friendship day.
Taking out monster for a walk can increase if affection level too.

2 FP is enough for me, as the monster can water/harvest all the 9 crop plots that I have on the field.

How bout the producing animals? Because getting wool and eggs and milk are very valuable.

read in faqs that in order to access lava ruins need to defeat boss monster in green ruins . but i'm confused, i defeated giant chicken in green ruins yet lava ruins are not unlocked for me. then i went back in green ruins - and see in that room still have giant chicken. haf to kill him how many times ?
