QUOTE(funkychips @ May 5 2009, 10:02 PM) Thanks for the info bro, appreciate it lots!! har??now u into planted aquarium?Actually my tank is a low tech tank, 2ft x 1.5 ft, doesn't run on any CO2 and only has a 15 watt 45cm florescent tube and overhang filter. As an update, even the unfurling leaf tips of the new leaf are now getting bleached out dark. The light is about 1 feet away from the water surface, so I don't know if the exposure is just about right. I will take pics and post when I have the time. hmm..im starting too |

hello all, here comes my first planted tank, running on mini filter with two 18w light, currently no fish or shrimps.
![]() water seems cloudy,i have to wait for the particles to be settled down. the cork bark was there in order to content the empty region which has been filling with no plants. side view ![]() plants are all populated in one side of the tank, due to the insufficient ADA soil. the following photo has nothing to do with the tank, but i just found that this photo is unique. ![]() your response and comment is awaited junshern |

well,its no harm to share.
lightning is 18 watt. feeling shame to reveal my soil's type, anw,40% of ADA while the rest is normal one selling at local fish shop. water temp unknown, but tank currently being kept in air conditioned room. i have choose the plants randomly, they are cheap but relatively big. |

thats the real situation,not lighting.
the fin part looks a bit destroyed, resulting in unstable movement in water.. |
